José Alberto Armijo, Nerja’s town Mayor and the Councilwoman for Health, Nuchi Moreno will file a motion again during the next Town’s Meeting to ask the provincial Health and Social Welfare Delegation for a meeting to speak about building the new town’s health center.
The document will demand the the start of the drafting of the basic project and the implementation of the new health center. This health center will be adapted to the new Functional Program and budget, as was promised by the Regional Administration in the 2014 budget, ‘for immediate construction on the plot donated by Nerja City Hall, ensuring the necessary funding” they added.
One of the reasons that has forced the municipal government to make this request once again is to be able to update the situation regarding the health infrastructures in Nerja to the newcomer member, Councilwoman for Health, Equality and Social Relations, Maria José Sánchez Rubio.
