Members of the Priority Pass Program have chosen the Malaga Airports VIP lounge as the best in Europe in 2013. The Priority Pass program is an independent group that has access to airports’ VIP lounges worldwide.
There were 600 VIP lounges all over the world to choose from. Malaga-Costa del Sol T-3 lounge was selected as the best by 60.000 travelers who participated in the poll.
Spanish Ministry of Development released a press statement to news agency Efe stating that the lounge was chosen as favorite by travelers who had enjoyed the lounge’s services.
Priority Pass gives 16 regional distinctions each year. In addition to Malaga’s airport award, the lounge Paul Casal located in Barcelona-El Prat’s airport received the Global Award from the same air travelers’ group.
Different settings are combined over a total surface of 2.600 square meters to create the Malaga Airports Terminal 3 VIP room. Aside from regular services offered in these lounges, Malaga’s lounge offers views of the air traffic control tower. It is situated on the first floor the airport’s D boarding area.
The VIP lounge provides gourmet restaurant services on demand, a jewelry shop, computer stations with printers, a reserved area for meetings and a Zen garden.
